REQUEST A VOTE-BY-MAIL APPLICATION
We will be distributing vote-by-mail applications to those who are eligible and are looking to safely cast their vote in upcoming elections this year from home or outside the county. Please fill out the form below to get your vote by mail application either delivered to your front door or mailed to you! This is NOT for the actual ballot. You must turn in a vote-by-mail application to get your ballot!
*** This is for voters in Hidalgo County only. You must be a registered voter to vote-by-mail. To register to vote, go to Register2Vote.org
If you or someone you know is 65+ years old, disabled, will be out of the county (including college students) on Primary Election day (March 3, 2026) & during the period for early voting (February 17 - 27, 2026) by personal appearance, or be confined in jail, but otherwise eligible -- PLEASE REQUEST A VOTE BY MAIL APPLICATION!

Who is able to request a Mail Ballot?
Individuals 65 and over on Election Day
Individuals with a disability
Individuals who are confined in jail
Individuals who will be outside of their county during Early Vote AND Election Day
When does my ballot need to be in by in order to be counted?
Send your ballot in as soon as possible. The absolute latest that your county can receive your ballot is 7pm on Election Day (if it’s not postmarked) or 5pm the day after Election Day (as long as it’s postmarked by 7pm on Election Day).
